Treyarch and Activision released Call of Duty: Black Ops III 2015, a first-person shooter. The sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops II came out in 2012, making it the twelfth game in the Call of Duty series overall. It came out on November 6, 2015, for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. This was the last Call of Duty game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and it was a stripped-down version developed by Beenox and Mercenary Technology that only supports multiplayer modes.
Black Ops III is the fourth Call of Duty game and occurs 40 years after the events of Black Ops II. This game continues the themes of futuristic warfare, where different groups struggle for dominance using robotic drones and high-performance super soldiers.

Is Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 Cross-platform?
Sadly, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is not a cross-platform title. Modern Warfare was the first Call of Duty game to be cross-platform compatible in 2019.
As a result, given that Black Ops 3 was released in 2015, there’s no way it could have included crossplay features. Is Call of Duty multiplatform? Some of them, yes. Is Black Ops 3 cross-platform?
Not, not at all!
Is Black Ops III Crossplay?
Unfortunately, no. Even though recent Call of Duty games have adopted the crossplay feature, this function was only introduced after Modern Warfare was released. Since Black Ops III came before Modern Warfare, crossplay was unavailable when it was released.
Until 2022, the developers of Black Ops III haven’t added this feature. Therefore, if you want to play with your friends, you’ll all have to play on the same platform.
