Incantations are magical spells in Elden Ring that have many valuable effects ranging from healing and healing status effects to dealing damage in a wide area. In this guide, we’ll look at the incantations locations in Elden Ring and discuss their uses and the difference between sorcery and incantations.

What are incantations in Elden Ring?

In Elden Ring, there are two types of magic: the first being sorcery and the other being incantations. Witchcraft is primarily used to cast spells to weaken or eliminate enemies during a battle.

On the other hand, Incantations are almost identical to Sorcery but have an entirely different set of spells.

For example, Incantations do not use a staff but a Seal (primary weapon of the Elden Ring) or any other weapon with the same function. They are tough to master but are intended for self-healing or healing an ailment.

Incantation Trainer Locations

Most of the time, the incantations are received by NPCs in Elden Ring. These NPCs are known as trainers. Below is a list of all spell trainers found in Elden Ring.

• Gurranq / Beast Clergyman: Found in Bestial Sanctum (northeast Caelid).

How to Use Incantations in Elden Ring

• You need seals to cast spells in Elden Ring.
• You can buy these seals at the Round Table. 
• Once you acquire the seal, you can learn or buy spells from different vendors.
• After that, you must sit down on A Site of Grace and navigate to the “Memorize Spell” menu, where you can equip the various incantations you’ve purchased.
• Once you’ve equipped your sigil, press one of the shoulder buttons to cast the spell.
