What is the Snowy Area In Elden Ring?

Consecrated Snowfield is the name of the snowy region in Elden Ring. The Snow Area is a location in Elden Ring that can be accessed after defeating the White-Gold Tower bosses.

How To Get To The Snow Area In Elden Ring Step By Step

How To Get To The Snow Area In Elden Ring

To reach the Consecrated Snowfield in Elden Ring, players must first complete 5 steps below:

Reach the Grand Lift of Rold past Leyndell

To reach the Grand Lift of Rold, you’ll need to travel northwest Leyndell. You’ll find it northwest of the Forbidden Lands Site of Grace. You’ll have to backtrack to get to this lift, so be prepared to spend some time navigating Leyndell. The Grand Lift of Rold will eventually lead you to the Snow-covered Mountaintops of the Giants.

The Grand Lift of Rold is the first destination in Elden Ring. It’s a large, open area that contains several hidden areas. You can access them by following the path towards Leyndell. However, make sure you activate the Site of Grace before fighting Leyndell. Be aware that it can be challenging to hold onto Elden Ring Runes while fighting Leyndell.

You’ll need the Rold Medallion to reach the Grand Lift of Rold. If you use the Rold Medallion to climb, you’ll be presented with an option to hoist a secret medallion. This will enter a cutscene, which can be completed using the Haligtree Medallion. When you’re done, the Hidden Path of the Haligtree will open.

Get the Medallion right half from the Albinaurics.

To access the consecrated snow area of the Elden Ring, you must find the Haligtree Medallion. This hidden item is located in the frozen north of the Lands Between and is a prerequisite for Medallion access to the Ordina and Consecrated Snowfield areas. Luckily, the first half of the Medallion is quite easy to find.

You can get this item in several ways, but the most common method is using the Site of Lost Grace. This location is near the knight that spawns from the Site of Lost Grace. This area has an elevator you can use to travel up to the top of the mountain and climb the outside steps. Once you’Medalliond the top of the lift, you should see an NPC who will give you the right half of the Medallion.

The second method is to get the Medallion right half from the Albinaurics. It is easy to miss this part, but a few are very close together. After you get the right half, you’ll have to slap a pot that contains a dying Albinauric to collect it. The dead Albinaurics will lose their sentience, but you’ll have a piece of the Haligtree Secret Medallion.

You can get the right half of the Haligtree Medallion from the Albinaurics after you conquer Leyndell and gain access to the Consecrated Snowfield. Obtaining the Medallion right half from the Albinaurics will unlock two optional areas and a few more bosses. Once you’ve collected the right half of the Medallion, you can use it on the Grand Lift of Rold.

Get the Medallion left half from Commander Niall.

To get to the Consecrated Snowfield in Elden Ring, you must get the Haligtree Secret Medallion. You will need to find both halves of this Medallion to proceed. Getting the first half will be easy; however, you should be a Medallion. The second half will be a bit more challenging to find.

You will need to visit the Site of Grace to get the second part of the Medallion. It is a building north of the Elden Ring, accessible by stairs or lift. On the ground is a medallion that can be raised. This medal will Medallion cut scene and take you to a new area. You must be leveMedallionigher to obtain this Medallion.

In Elden Ring, you must obtain both halves of the Medallion before accessing the Snowfield. It would be best if you found the Haligtree Secret MedaMedallionthe watchtower, and the second half is near a ghostly NPC. Having both halves of the Medallion will allow you to fast travel to the Grand Lift of Rold. Once there, you will trigger a cutscene that will take you to the Snowfield.

To get to the Consecrated Snowfield in Elden Ring, you need to activate the Rold’s Uprising glitch. Once you start this glitch, you can reach multiple dungeons and villages in the area. This includes the massive dungeon Miqueella’s Haligtree in the middle of a treetop village.

Bring both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion to the Grand Lift of Rold

Return to the Grand Lift of Rold once you’ve obtained both halves, and there will be a new prompt (that you may have to cycle through) to “Hoist Secret Medallion.” As with Dectus, there will be a brief cutscene in which your character accomplishes precisely that before being sent to a new place – you aren’t officially in the Snowfield yet, but you’re getting close.

Get through the Hidden Path to the Haligtree to reach the Consecrated Snowfield

This is a rather misleading location; while the Hidden Path to the Haligtree dungeons is extensive and full of mysteries, going through it is pretty simple, albeit not easy.

There are invisible passages across lethal pits, a secret Elden Ring Mimic Tear boss battle, and illusion walls, however, most of this is optional and may be done later.

If you just want to go through, proceed up the giant staircase in the corridor, kill or scooch through the enormous octopus at the top, then take a right after you’re past it, along some more stairs, and you’ll finally arrive at the Snowfield!
