Aether Gazer Tier List: S+ Tier Characters

Living Soul Osiris

  • Tier List Rank: S+

The Living Soul Osiris is a DoT hero who excels in challenging situations.

Best Aether Codes:

  • DPS Code Path: 3 Yellow
  • Skill Issue Code Path: 3 Red

Team Suggestions:

  • Living Soul Osiris
  • The Innocence Osiris
  • Early Sakura Ookuninushi

Best Sigils:

  • Position 1 – Gale Sovereign
  • Position 2 – God’s Cupbearer
  • Position 3 – Gale Sovereign
  • Position 4 – God’s Cupbearer
  • Position 5 – Gale Sovereign
  • Position 6 – God’s Cupbearer

Aether Gazer Tier List: S Tier Characters

Shinri Tsukuyomi

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: S
  • Element: Lightning
  • Resource: Rage
  • Gen-zone: Shinou
  • Grade: S

Shinri Tsukuyomi is an extremely effective modifier, both for single-target and area-of-effect attacks. While in auto mode, your main controlled character will always make it out alive, the auto mode does not provide 100% control over Tsukuyomi.

When under-leveling, she is an absolute must-pick in any DMG check content.

Tips:

  • Use your teammate’s ultimate as soon as possible after using Third Skill 3, as it may be immune to damage during the animation.
  • When the boss is in close range, 1st Skill 3 and 2nd Skill 3’s mobility can be helpful.

Rahu Asura

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: S
  • Element: Fire
  • Resource: Energy
  • Gen-zone: Asterism
  • Grade: S

Rahu Asura, the only modifier with the ability to halt time with Skill 2 (“za wordo”), is the fire team’s best carrier. She can’t function without her unique functor.

The personnel options for the fire department are reliable. The team’s make-up—Airgetlam Nuadha, Ryugiri Kagutsuchi, and Rahu Asura—exemplifies the adage “half is better than one, and one is better than three.”

New players will appreciate the consistent rhythm of damage in [Battlefield of Asura – Deva Learning].

Energy management and control are necessary for [Avidya – Pain of the Fall], but the reward is a high DMG ceiling.

Her ability to perform and control her energy in distinctive ways are hallmarks of her [Signature Functor]. It also affects how she uses her special ability chain. This functor’s inherent resistance to flames is a major motivating factor in the selection of this particular firefighting unit’s members.

Aether code buffs can be increased more quickly during the transition period thanks to the 4-star functor Synchronic – Chakaneeju. If Ryugiri Kagutsuchi on your team uses the first Yellow aether code (Ultimate Fury – Ablation), she can increase the damage she does while under the Scorchstatus effect by using the 5-star functor Synchronic – Vasuki.

Advice: You can dash-cancel any of her skills because they all have lengthy animations.

Warning: Skill 2 should not be used against an invulnerable foe.

Arctic Abyss Poseidon

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: S
  • Element: Ice
  • Resource: Energy
  • Gen-zone: Olympus
  • Grade: S

Yongshi’s daughter deals the most damage in an area of effect, but her damage done to a single boss is low compared to other S-rank modifiers. However, don’t worry; her AOE effect more than makes up for the current version’s increased difficulty, which reduces her damage.

The damage done by the all-rounder build is consistent, and there is no need to worry about mana costs. She’s your typical do nothing but deal damage mage. Building 1 red and 2 blue allows her to maintain energy and increase crit chance when facing a single foe. The cooldown of Skills 1 and 2 can be shortened with Quiet White — Condensation.

Nibelungenlied is the best sigil to use with a 2, 2, 2 build because her ultimate energy can be restored by being frozen. In addition, freezing can shorten the recovery time between uses of Skills 1 and 2, potentially improving the skill rotation.

New Pact Verthandi

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: C
  • Element: Physical
  • Resource: Divine Grace
  • Gen-zone: Yggdrasill

Despite having a modest damage output, she is more easily transcended thanks to event shards. As her transcend level rises in the early game, she will support you.

More DMG is dealt in Zero Time with [Rune Carvings – Illuminating Sign] (bring the cat with the Shadow Hunter universal chip), but you can’t auto with this skill because it requires perfect dodge.

[Runic Spell – In the Eyes] offers more DMG while in Modify Mode, making it appropriate for content with a medium to low level of difficulty.

AblaZe Tyr

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: S
  • Element: Light
  • Resource: Trace
  • Gen-zone: Yggdrasill
  • Grade: S
  • His Skill 3 at maximum Marks is the single skill that has the biggest nuke.
  • Due to CC resistance, Skill 3 is probably not present when fighting mobile bosses.
  • His unique Functor has little worth.

Jin-ei Kuninotokotachi

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: S
  • Role(s): Support Carry, Main Carry
  • Element: Physical (Lightning, Wind, Fire)
  • Resource: Divine Grace
  • Gen-zone: Shinou
  • Grade: S

She will be forceful if you know how to play her. We advise leveling her up after the majority of other 5-star modifiers due to skill issues. It’s a skill issue, not a design issue, (with her).

She can join a physical, wind, fire, or thunder team as a support carry based on her 5-star modifier stats, but do not put her on auto because she will slow the team down. You will need her defining functor, which boosts her damage, if you want her to be the main carry. The sets for the second sigil are distinct from her regular sets.

Slots 2 and 5 of the Griffins’ Pride sigil have a skill effect that increases crit rate, and slot 6 is superior to the ultimate damage increase in Philosopher’s Fantasies. Choose Griffins’ Pride set for slots 2, 5, and 6, and Philosopher’s Fantasies set for slots 1, 3, and 4.

She is often prioritized behind other modifiers because of her flexibility in team compositions. She can be used in any situation where a modifier is required. Although she primarily deals physical damage (and even more if equipped with her signature functor), her team’s make-up depends on the skill she employs. Use Immortal Ship and Philosopher’s Fantasies sigil sets with Yellow Aether codes for this reason.

Her cooldowns are decreased by [Genesis – Way of Ninja], making her easier to manage. With [God of Reeds – Everlasting], crit damage is extremely high. She has a higher damage cap because using this Aether code requires a high crit rate.

Shinku Buzenbo Tengu

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: S
  • Role: Main Carry
  • Element: Physical
  • Resource: Trace
  • Gen-zone: Shinou

Although her skill design is excellent, the fact that she is an A-rank modifier restricts her stats. In CBT3, they decreased the Cupbearer of the Gods set bonus, which also decreased her directly and increased her dependence on her distinctive functor. She will have the highest damage among A-rank modifiers after obtaining her signature functor, but unless you’re a whale, it’s not worthwhile to obtain the signature for an A-rank modifier.

Advice: The first Skill 3 and everything that follows are distinct. This allows her to maximize her damage output by replenishing her Traces and using the second Skill 3 once more to complete her combo.

Note that traces significantly impair her performance. She can become strong in the “Causality Survey” and “Dimensional Variable” modes.

The Innocence Osiris

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: S
  • Element: Physical
  • Resource: Trace
  • Gen-zone: Nile

She is the most effective and reliable A-rank modifier in terms of both damage and consistency. She still performs well even without her distinctive functor. We advise newcomers to use her.

We also advise getting her signature functor, which greatly enhances her capabilities and gives her three effects from All the Aether code node.

Likewise, we advise using the first and second Red Aether codes when she is in automatic mode without Mimtastic (the pink cat). She will quickly perish in higher-difficulty content if not.

Airgetlam Nuadha

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: S
  • Element: Fire
  • Resource: Divine Grace
  • Gen-zone: Asterism

If you are comfortable with his charging abilities, he is enjoyable to play with.

He has used his third Aether code in the yellow path, “Furnace of War – Flameburst.” The first and second Aether codes in the yellow path rely on delaying taking damage and then releasing it. He either uses his ultimate or zero time following a flawless dodge because it also requires a lengthy cast time. He can inflict more damage with Rahu Asura and Ryugiri Kagutsuchi.

Despite [Silverhand Tear – Multiplication]’s nice AOE damage and high health cost, it is not a wise skill to use. It might kill him in more challenging content. Although he has knock back resistance with his ultimate, it is not really necessary given the current content.

[Notes on Team Comp]
He needs to recharge his Skill, 3. For her shields, it is preferable to team up with Archaic Oath Verthandi.

Aether Gazer Tier List: A Tier Characters

Waverender Skadi

  • Tier List Rank: A
  • AI Tier List Rank: B
  • Element: Melee / Ice
  • Resource: Divine Grace
  • Gen-zone: Yggdrasill

She is a main carry for ice who can support and deal damage, though her DMG output is not particularly impressive. Her support skills are only useful in ice team competitions. She is one of the two modifiers with two different forms; whereas her “Cruising Mode” is more concentrated on freezing and stunning as a support, her normal form is better suited for dealing damage.

There are three different builds in Aether Codes, each with a distinctive play style.

  • We suggest Left 3 Aether Codes for those who want to deal a lot of damage because they use charged attacks to do a lot of damage.
  • Right 3 Aether Codes boost DMG output while in “Cruising Mode.”
  • The Mid 3 Aether Codes improve the team’s collective ice DMG because they were created specifically for an ice team comp.
  • The Mid 2 Right 1 is another Aether Code build that makes use of the “Icebreaker Mark” for damage bonuses. This build has a respectable damage output when operated by the AI.

If you are using the Right 3 Aether Codes, you can increase Divine Grace regeneration and increase the use of Skill 2 in “Cruising Mode” by combining the Vanargand’s Seal set with the Philosopher’s Fantasies set. We advise concentrating more on the more recent ice build, the Icy Edge of Frozen Seas set with the Philosopher’s Fantasies set, if you only have one ice modifier with her signature.

You can select Merfil, a 4-star functor, if you’d prefer not to pull for her Signature functor. But currently, only the “Cruising Mode” can fully take advantage of Merfil’s damage bonus buff due to recent updates and nerfs. In Merfil’s typical state, we do not advise using her. (My sweetheart Merfil)

We strongly advise using Arctic Abyss Poseidon as a must-pick in team competitions. Waverender Skadi can easily deal damage thanks to Arctic Abyss Poseidon’s freezing and ice resistance shred. When she reaches Omega Transcend Level with her Signature Functor, it is preferable to use the melee set (Night Owl’s Raid set) or the Golden Fleece set as the third sigil set because her Signature Functor only concentrates on DMG output and will weaken the set effect from the Witch’s Judgement set.

Waverender Skadi also needs a sizable investment to reach her full potential.

Thundertusk Kali

  • Tier List Rank: A
  • AI Tier List Rank: B
  • Element: Melee / Thunder
  • Resource: Energy
  • Gen-zone: Asterism

The second modifier in the game is made to deliver higher DMG output and quick combos in a fighter-style. This modifier tests the player’s ability to exert control because it is independent of her Signature Functor.

Options for Aether Codes: The left three Aether Codes shorten skill cooldowns. Players can successfully avoid attacks to boost their ATK by 70% while charging up skill 3. Left 3 Aether Codes has the best DMG output of any Aether Codes build, but it lacks Energy.

Right 3 Aether Codes increases crit rate and error toleration. This Aether Code build can choose the “All Cases” build, Witch’s Judgement set, and Night Owl’s Raid set because it does not suffer from Energy shortages. The focus of Mid 3 Aether Codes is on improving Skill 2.

Try out Mid 3 Aether Codes if you like to batter. The Last Mid-Aether Code can be replaced with the First Left or First Right Aether Code once the player has her Signature Functor or if they are confident with their control timings.

Signature Functor can increase combos and increase error tolerance. Players who use Thundertusk Kali frequently might think about pulling one Signature Functor for her.

A4132A4 or A4231A4 in combination (A4 stands for 4 Normal ATKs). Skill 1 and the four Regular ATKs can be skipped if you have Signature Functor. To deal damage, use Skill 2, 3, and 2 after successfully dodging attacks.

She can only act as the Main Carry because she lacks other compatible modifiers.

Ryugiri Kagutsuchi

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: A
  • Element: Fire
  • Resource: Energy
  • Gen-zone: Shinou
  • Grade: S

He is an S-tier modifier in terms of controlling the modifier and aggro. However, there isn’t much damage.

He does quite well for lengthy, dangerous content. He can survive thanks to [Skyfire Descends – Obliteration]. Likewise, he is not experiencing a lack of energy. Thus, in single-target scenarios, Witch’s Judgment and Griffin’s Pride are used; in other scenarios, Prometheus’ Flame and Griffin’s Pride are used. Even though he doesn’t have Shinri Tsukuyomi’s single target damage, if properly controlled, he can provide aggro and survivability for the team’s AI to deal damage.

The team can benefit from knock back resistance and the highest amount of fire resistance thanks to the Ultimate Skillchain with Airgetlam Nuadha. Asterism Gen-zones can benefit from Rahu Asura’s Airgetlam Nuadha, which increases damage in Modified Mode.

Tidal Song Poseidon

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: A
  • Element: Water
  • Resource: Divine Grace
  • Gen-zone: Olympus
  • Grade: A

Stream Song The only modifier with a healing focus is Poseidon. Additionally, she is the free Omega modifier who performs better than lower A-rank modifiers.

Tidal Song Poseidon is unique and has a lot of sustainability thanks to her Signature Functor.

She can lead the team through challenging terrain if she is designed as a super healer. For content that needs damage, she can also select Atlantis – Sea Sounds and construct herself as a sub-carrier. She will have to manually target her skills, and she might run into moving foes.

Archaic Oath Verthandi

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: A
  • Role: Support
  • Element: Lightning
  • Resource: Divine Grace
  • Gen-zone: Yggdrasill

A one-of-a-kind defensive modifier with special abilities. Counter Attack triggers Zero Time and ultimate charges make her an investment priority.

Skill 2 and 3 can be boosted by the Red Line Aether code. The Mimtastic (the pink cat) heals AI teammates, making shields unnecessary. As a result, it is preferable to use the Red Line Aether code with the signature functor effect to increase damage output. The Blue Line Aether code can provide shields to teammates in auto mode, while the first Yellow Aether code adds a stun effect to Skill 1.

To ensure DMG output, we recommend using 1 Yellow 2 Blue Aether code build for multiple mobile bosses for teams without CC. 2 Blue Aether codes can aid in the clearing of mobs in earlier content. However, as the game progresses, the AOE effect weakens, making two Blue Aether codes less effective.

Early Sakura Ookuninushi

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: A
  • Element: Physical
  • Resource: Rage
  • Gen-zone: Shinou
  • Grade: S

It is very advantageous to have Sakura Ookuninushi early in the game. She is straightforward to comprehend with high skill multipliers. This makes her forceful at the beginning of the game, but as the game progresses, she becomes more of a support because of her simple skill design and the fact that the majority of her damage comes from her Skill 3 (which can be challenging to hit all the damage on mobile bosses).

She is an effective support modifier for both the Rage team comp and the Shinou team comp. She should have her signature functor if she wants to be the main carry; otherwise, she is insufficient.

Shinou Tsukuyomi benefits greatly from her Rage recovery. She can create the Shinou team comp with Ryugiri Kagutsuchi to boost the team’s damage even more.

She can benefit from the Skill 1 draw and keep 2 buffs consistently, and the 22% crit rate of the DPS Aether code build. The ideal Aether code build for her is this one.

Her support capacity is boosted by [Road to Nenokuni – Shuffle], but it is only marginally increased.

Setting her on auto can be 1000% better than player controlled because player-controlled modifiers attract the most aggro.

Gusty Lance Shu

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: A
  • Role(s): Main Carry, Support Carry
  • Element: Wind
  • Resource: Trace
  • Gen-zone: Nile

She does not require a signature functor, but her damage does stand out slightly among all the A-rank modifiers due to its lack of AOE. She is effective with early content. Her attack strategies are simple—you just need to click the skill that lights up. The remainder is just avoiding. Using Griffins’ Pride and aether codes, you can achieve limitless dodging once you have amassed sufficient sigil skills to raise crit rate. The Swordsman’s Creed sigil sets are available for those who are certain of their abilities.

[Additional sigil note] Nibelungenlied sets can be used in slots 2, 4, and 6 to support Living Soul Osiris’ ultimate charge speed if you are putting together a team composition with him.

You can only use the dodge mechanic when you are controlling Gusty Lance Shu. This tactic is ineffective against AI.

The Glare Apollo

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: D
  • Role: Main Carry
  • Element: Light
  • Resource: Energy
  • Gen-zone: Olympus

The acrobat skill mechanics are very distinctive. To deal good damage, the player’s skill level must be high. To use him effectively, you must have the signature functor.

Dark Mistletoe Hodur

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: B
  • Element: Shadow
  • Resource: Rage
  • Gen-zone: Yggdrasill

Simple to use. Among all A rank modifiers, has respectable AOE abilities. Has some support skills as well. She has the advantage of being able to quickly transform into Omega and give the team damage support. Her ultimate skill can restore Rage, which is advantageous for the composition of a rage team.

Good AOE abilities are provided by [Destiny Cocoon – Tears], which also has a small-range grouping ability.

The grouping ability of Skill 1 is improved by [Thorns of Darkness – Dimstar], and Skill 2 offers debuffs that increase the team’s DPS.

Sakubo Tsukuyomi

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: D
  • Element: Shadow
  • Resource: Divine Grace
  • Gen-zone: Shinou

Although [Amaterasu’s Sibling – Moonlight] deals respectable single-target damage, using it is challenging and unsatisfying.

[Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto – Waning Moon] has respectable AOE damage, but its performance depends on the signature functor.

Frost Fang Vidar

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: B
  • Element: Ice
  • Resource: Rage
  • Gen-zone: Yggdrasill

When a dodge is successful, up the ice damage by 50%. You must dodge to avoid this character (a skill issue).

Single target and AOE options are both beneficial. Even lacking the signature functor, the damage is not severe. The Vidar and Leviathan team is an alternative if no other modifiers are available to use at the start of the game.

A powerful AOE skill in [Immortality – Crystal Fall] is “spin to win.”

The single target damage to [Ragnarok Survivor – Solitary Sleep] is substantial. You need additional ice modifiers if you want this skill to function well. To make this work, Vidar herself does not have a very long freeze time.

If Skill 3 fails to eliminate the enemy, the cooldown is cut in half and critical damage is permanently increased by 15%, up to a maximum of 90%.

Aether Gazer Tier List: B Tier Characters

Croc Rage Sobek

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: C
  • Element: Water
  • Resource: Rage
  • Gen-zone: Nile

Although it is obvious from the aether codes that this modifier is made for mobs, his skills are challenging to use (try it for yourself). Additionally, it is very difficult to target a specific enemy with Skill 3 due to the way enemies look for opponents. The ultimate’s 20% boost to melee DMG is a useful perk, but it must be used to kill enemies to recharge. This significantly reduces his ability to make use of this buff. In addition, he lacks the necessary stats to count as a buff support.

If you select Valiant Battle – Crushing Power, you can use a single normal attack to eliminate tough opponents with less than 25% health.

Skill 2 can destroy Water Resistance after obtaining the signature functor, but it is not worthwhile to purchase the signature functor for this modifier.

Aether Gazer Tier List: C Tier Characters

Radiant Feather Hera

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: B
  • Role: Support Carry
  • Element: Fire
  • Resource: Trace
  • Gen-zone: Olympus

Although her ultimate can group enemies, the damage is insufficient. We do not advise building her.

She can be used early in the game thanks to [Queen of Olympus – Furious Feather], which gives her a good AoE ability with her ultimate.

The Scorch effect is provided by [Heart of Jealousy – Land of the Dawn] and [Heart of Jealousy – Sacred Blaze] throughout the mission, and they can act as a buff support for modifiers like Ryugiri Kagutsuchi. Arctic Abyss Poseidon’s ultimate skill chain can restock the team’s ultimate. Hera is a good support that doesn’t need a lot of work as long as she doesn’t pass away.

She increases damage when enemies are under the Scorch effect because [Heart of Jealousy – Land of the Dawn] can effectively apply the Scorch effect. Their resistance to fire is also diminished. As a result, Ryugiri Kagutsuchi and Rahu Asura can inflict more harm. Better still, if you can manually steer and execute flawless dodges (in which case, why not use Airgetlam Nuadha?).

She can use her ultimate more frequently and group enemies with the Nibelungenlied sigil set.

Drifting Fury Leviathan

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: A
  • Element: Ice
  • Resource: Trace
  • Gen-zone: Asterism

The only modifier that can eliminate a boss’ control resistance is Leviathan. You can effectively freeze the boss in place and increase your damage output when used with a CC modifier. While we don’t advise spending a lot of money on her, in some circumstances, getting rid of control resistance can be very helpful.

Surefire Zenkibo Tengu

  • Aether Gazer Tier List Rank: D
  • Element: Physical
  • Resource: Trace
  • Gen-zone: Shinou

Wait for Shinri Tsukuyomi after setting her down.

You will learn a lot of her information from the event as a starter modifier. Compared to the other two starter modifiers, her skill usage and design are less effective. She is a playable character during the game’s opening transition phase.

She requires a signature to perform well in combat; investing in her is not advised.

Low sustainability. She might require double trace sets. I’m unsure.

To maximize damage when using Chaos Veteran – On and On, cancel the Skill 2 animation as soon as she receives a trace and carry on with normal attacks.
