How to get Odin’s Spear Gungnir in AC Valhalla
The Spear can be found in Norway in Goinshellir:
- Take the ship to the northeast edge of the map.
- You walk up the mountain from the shore but keep to the left.
- After a few steps straight ahead, you will cross a large crevice on the right.
- Now you can already see the Goinshellir cave, the entrance of which is decorated with hanging ice. When you first enter, a cutscene will start.
- Go into the cave and destroy the ice wall on the left.
- Keep to the left and squeeze through a narrow crevice.
- Now you come to the area where Odin’s Spear is stuck in the wall, just waiting for Eivor to pull it out.
When Can You Get Gungnir In AC Valhalla?
To discover Odin’s Spear Gungnir, you must first finish the game’s main plot, which includes all story arcs in England.
If you want to pull Gungnir out of the wall, you can only do so after completing the story. To be more precise, after the quest ” To protect my brother, “in which we are taken back to Norway.
How To Defeat & Escape From Odin?

Defeat Basim: A boss fight against Basim then takes place. The fight is more typical again and lets you fight him properly. You have to survive against Basim in a total of 3 levels. After that, you can finally pull the Spear out of the wall.

Gungnir may be used in almost any build with your Eivor. This weapon will offer you a significant advantage in circumstances when distance is critical.
